Version 4.1

Version 4.1 is based on the Cyclone IV board described here.

Important note: The FPGA  board needed for v4.1 is currently ( Dec. 2021 ) not available. So better check availibility BEFORE ordering your PCBs and/or use GottFA80 v5!

In case you do not have 'late' 80B games order V1.0.

I do provide two sets of BOM and CPL files for producing the PCBs at JLC. The first set do include the PCB and SMD components only. You need to purchase the DIP components and solder them yourself. The second set do include all DIP sockets using the 'hand soldering' service from JLC. Here you only need to purchase the DIP chips and the SD card and place them on the board.

For easy replacement all chips placed at the 'corners' of GottFA80 are in DIP format.

Due to copyrigth on Gottlieb roms the SD card does not contain any rom code, but do provide the right struture for GottFA80. Have a look at the user manual to see how you can copy your rom images onto the Sd card.
